I got to spend a crisp morning in Georgia with this beautiful mother and daughter duo. Dad is away for work and missing his family – these photos will bring help him back into their daily life – even from afar. Baby girl is the most precious thing and truly stole the show, we had a fantastic morning and I casually shot as they went about their morning routine.

Shooting candid shots in the home can have some limitations – this home did not have a ton of natural light and with documentary style photography there is no flash. Thankfully my Fujifilm XF 23mm F1.4 R LM WR lens was perfect for this low light setting. The outcome is beautiful – only an hours time but the story really speaks for itself.
